BigLebowski 0
We think alike. The only other option would be to get cute and raise to something like $20 and push any turn.
simo_8ball 1
Don't limp preflop. Please don't.On the flop you are bluffing with the best hand a lot of the time by repotting. I raise to $20.
BigLebowski 0
Don't limp preflop. Please don't.I can't speak for BDC, but for me personally I don't feel I am good enough to play post flop OOP with an AAxx like this so I have temporarily plugged a leak in my game by NOT raising these types of hands PF unless I can get a decent amount of my stack in there pf.Yeah I know, we are basically calling with AA here for set value, but I can't count the number of times I stack people because they simply don't believe people would play AA this way. If you raise or reraise and an A flops that is usually the end of the action.
bdc30 0
I've gone to raising next to nothing from UTG. It would have to be super-suited AAxx where the xx are solid too, JT, T9, JQ, etc OR a good d/s wrap hand 89TJ, for me to be raising now.-and - it's not only for set value, but on junk flops like these, we can semi-bluff what is most likely the best hand and/or get the fold equity against the "other" AA if it's in the other guy's hand.
