These happened right in a row. Table had VP$IP of 51% and a preflop raise rate of 2%. I post this series just as it happened, because, really, it kicked my ass. I'm wondering if there were points I needed to slowdown. Also wondering if I hsould've tried check/raises to isolate. The table was so loose, I figured it wasn't worth it.Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Norman is BB with [8c], [Qh]. 3 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Norman checks.Free flop.Flop: (5 SB) [2d], [6h], [Qc] (5 players)SB checks, Norman bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls, SB calls.I bet out with top pair. Should I have c/r'd to isolate, fold if too many callers?Turn: (5 BB) [Jh] (5 players)SB checks, Norman bets, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, Button calls, SB folds.Safe card.River: (9 BB) [Ac] (4 players)Norman bets, Norman folds, MP2 calls.River worried me, rightlyfully so. Folded to the 3 bet.Final Pot: 16 BBParty Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Norman is SB with [Ah], [Jh]. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls, Button calls.Flop: (13 SB) [7d], [Js], [5d] (6 players)Norman bets, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP2 calls, CO folds, Button calls. The flop I wanted.Turn: (8.50 BB) [4h] (4 players)Norman bets, UTG+2 folds, MP2 folds, Button calls.Good turn.River: (10.50 BB) [8c] (2 players)Norman bets, Norman calls.wtf? You gotta be kidding me.Final Pot: 14.50 BBFolded 8To.Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Norman is CO with [Kh], [Ks]. UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls.Flop: (9.50 SB) [Th], [6c], [Qh] (4 players)UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, Norman bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls.Pretty okay flop.Turn: (6.75 BB) [Js] (4 players)UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, Norman bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, MP3 calls.Turn improves me. People just won't fold though.River: (10.75 BB) [4c] (4 players)UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP3 checks, Norman bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP3 calls.River's a blank.Final Pot: 13.75 BBParty Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converterPreflop: Norman is MP3 with [Ac], [As]. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.Standard stuff.Flop: (13.50 SB) [7c], [6d], [2s] (4 players)UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.Good rainbow flop. WTF is everyone calling with?Turn: (9.75 BB) [2c] (3 players)UTG+1 checks, MP1 checks, Norman bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls.Turn bothers me since it brings a flush draw and a 2, but they were calling before this.River: (12.75 BB) [9s] (3 players)UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls. And I should win.Final Pot: 16.75 BBI lost every single above pot. Hand 1) Straight 2) Straight 3) QJo turns two pair 4) J2o turned trips. While I am whining indeed, I wondered if I'm being far too aggressive. These happened right in a row- and, I guess, maybe they figured I was blufing or weak? Should I be check/raising?

Just a string of bad beats. You felt you had the best hand, rightfully so, and you were betting them accordingly. The first hand when you were in the BB, I might have checked raised to isolate. While that sometimes works on low limits at UB, it usually doesn't at Party. "Hey its only .50 more!" Other than that, I can definitely not find 1 hand that you played too aggressively. Runner runners and J2os catching trips on the turn suck. These players are playing so passively its hard to have any idea what they have. You are playing as you should.

the last hand you should go for the overcall, instead of raising on the river.everything else looks fine, sucks that you lost those hands though.

t was a weird ass bet- but when he flipped the hand, I guess he made many mistakes besides playing the hand in the first place.I'm just fustrated. I gotta sit down and crank out 1000 hands a day again I think.
