3 bet from BB makes me think aces, since he re-raised an early position raiser. I'd slow down on the turn, although, if you do decide to bet (like you did), that weak call screams to me to fly into action on the river.

No don't slow down when he 3-bets the flop. What are you worried about? him having a straight draw? He doesn't. He re-raised pre-flop. Only thing I'm worried about here is Trip aces, which is highly unlikely cuz you have 1 of the 4 aces already.Oh...cap pre-flop Einstein. It's a multi-way pot.

what I don't like is you using one of my lines from a recent post (check for Hammer of Thor!!!). Try coming up with something on your own please...

its AKo and you generally cap with AKs, donk. You only cap with AKo when its heads up I don't mind the flop cap Ron, but lets thinkabout what he may have, 88 is a possibility as those whjo have read Jen Harmon's LHE section don't get that its for isolational only. I've seen people freely 3bet this PF and get frisky on the flop, they're trying to play well, but just don't get it. He could have KK, QQ, or JJ, which isn't out of the realm of possibility. Since we weren't raised on the river we can certainly assume that he doesn't he QQ. Which leads me to believe we're choppping this puppy. With all of the draws out there though, I'd check call the river, we'd hate to get raised there

was he calling someone a donk, or using it as an exclamation point to what he was trying to say? If he was calling someone a donk here, well that is just plain wrong. When people respond to a post that asks for suggestions, said suggestions are given, and they said suggestors are called donks, well I think we all know who the real donk is...biatch

no I called JFarrell a Donk, because that's what he is. He's been playing .5/1 for months on end now and hasn't been good enough to move up to 1/2. Even with him playing some NL, he said he did, you'd think he'd be able to double up a couple of times and actually have a roll to play 1/2, but yet he doesn't and yet he tries to give advice like he actually knows how to play poker, he's a donk

you and I have butted heads a couple of times, so I don't want to get into a pissing match with you again (as you put me in my place at least once...lol), but try to go easy on people like Donk. Not everyone has the testicular fortitude to go up to 3/6 in 3 months like you have (or whatever you have done, I can't remember), even if they have been able to make the money to have the bankroll. Your methods for playing poker, while not flawless, or certainly good enough to play at any level (as nothing about the cards changes at the various levels, just the amount of money you are investing in each hand and presumably the skill levels of your opponents to some degree), in your mind at least. What is stopping you from climbing up yet another rung or two on the ladder? Don't you have credit cards that you could use for cash advances to allow you the proper bankroll to play even higher than what you are currently at? Come on, stop being a donk and move up some more

Using credit cards for cash advances is -EV to the Donk degree.

which one that' have to be good. Rocket, if I had even half a motivation to deal with you, I would. Yes I do have CCs, but I'm gonna earn my way to the next rung. As far as me insulting JFarrell, stay out of it dude. Him and I don't see eye-to-eye on many things, and its between those of us who have spent many threads in flame wars with each other, and seeing as how you are defending the FCP village idiot, I really don't know what to say

I was not defending anyone, just saying that stupid name calling is kinda silly for grown men and women to partake in.and I was not trying to get something going with you either, simply stating that you should not knock someone who has yet to move up to higher levels when you yourself can very easily move up as well but choose not to

If you haven't earned the right to move up, you shouldn't move up.If you have earned the right to move up and don't, you're probably not maximing your profit.Moving up when you are ready (and not before) is +EV.
