This table was extremely loose. The two villains in this hand were the main reason. No stats, but SB called down my AKs with Q6o (capped pre-flop) on a board of AKJ. Hit his 10 on the river. Also called down w/QTo on a board of 37AAQ.The other villain called a pre-flop cap with 93s and split the pot with me (A3s) on a board of 246A5. Called the whole way. Before these bad but not terrible beats, I'd lost a buy-in in no limit to a bunch of shockingly bad beats. Thus, I am tilting slightly but trying to consciously stay in control.Enough back story, now to the hand:PokerStars 0.25/0.50 Hold'em (5 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)Preflop: Hero is Button with QPosted Image, QPosted Image. 1 fold, MP calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB 3-bets, MP calls, Hero caps, SB calls, BB calls, MP calls.Flop: (16 SB) 7Posted Image, 6Posted Image, 4Posted Image (4 players)SB checks, BB bets, MP calls, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls, MP calls.Turn: (12 BB) 3Posted Image (4 players)SB checks, BB checks, MP checks, Hero bets, SB calls, BB folds, MP calls.River: (15 BB) 7Posted Image (3 players)SB checks, MP checks, Hero checks.Final Pot: 15 BBGood? Standard? Bad? Obviously I didn't like the board much, but no one else was showing aggression.

I'd bet the river.Play the rest the same.Decision time if raised on the river, but I probably call given the pot size, for one more bet.

I usually check the river behind when the top card pairs, way to many players I run into like to check raise that card and I can never tell if I am missing value not betting or spewing calling a check raise.

Is a 7 even c/r'ing here that often if they're passive?

So on a board as scary as this it's still OK to bet if no one else is showing aggression. Excellent.

I'm checking this river given the information the OP posted about the villains.

I hate the river card. And given our history, I expect someone to have just outdrawn me.And I await a donk-bet.When it doesn't come, my opinion changes enough to warrant a value bet.Against these loose-passive opponents, I can see getting called twice by lesser hands. And that's just too good of an opportunity to pass up.--CM

I would bet the river against the people you described, but it's marginal either way
