Oct. is going to be a rebuilding month for me as i went busto :club: at the end of Sept. I was trying to get a few $$ online but couldnt find a way to deposit on stars which sucked. Anyways i ended up using my FPP to play a sat. to the million and won a seat, so now im using the T$ to grind up a roll playing SNGs. It def. sucks going from playing 9 $16 SNGs at a time to playing 4 $6 SNGs at a time but i guess thats what you gotta do sometimes. My plan is to play enough SNGs to get my roll back to 400 and then ill start 6 tabling $6 SNGs. Once i get to $600 ill start 9 tabling. Hopefully it wont take me to long to get to a grand from there at which point ill start to mix in some $16 SNGs. I dont plan on jumping back into the $16s until i have at least 1500 in my account which i hope is possible around the end of this month. Im also going to try and keep a daily blog of my progress going to motivate me to play/blog everyday.Summary: make $1500 and play at least 600 SNGs this month
^^^^^^^^ that was my Oct. goal. I was able to build a little BR last month by playing SNG. The bad news is i didnt make the $1500 mark, but the good news is i was able to follow my rules pretty closely (which kept me from random spew sessions). As far as the month goes, i made around $1400 from about 600 SNGs.As far as Nov. goes, i want to keep playing SNGs. Im going to stay at the 11 SNGs for at least two weeks but if i can get to 2200-2500 range ill probably jump to the 22 SNGs. Money wise i hope to win about 2k this month. I think this goal is reasonable as long as i put in the time and focus while im playing. Another goal i want to keep is to keep blogging almost everyday. I find this is a good way to stay focused.Anyways, ship 2k this month and ill be happy. (maybe 3k ??)

Well, Last month I lost roughly $50, which was all i had (deposited $200 in september). I played out of my roll, but more importantly I played TERRIBLY. I came on here and read, listened and posted. Came to a few realisations. Deposited $30, and played .01/.02 (feels so stupid saying that as last year I was at $1/$2) and made a couple of bucks. Last couple of days I've played some micro SnGs which (and everyone at microstakes should know) are GOLD MINES (relatively speaking) and been making ~$10 a day, fine with me to be honest. Oh and I didn't tilt anything off, which for me is AMAZING.So, my goals for this month:
  • Play roughly 30K hands
  • Don't tilt off anything. If I encounter a bad beat, just understand it was poker.
  • Try to make $300, a little less would be fine
  • FT a $2.50 or $1 MTT
Good Luck guys! :club:

I just got back into poker at the end of the month after the whole echeck fiasco and put just 50 back on stars. I'm trying to remember why I love the game and remember that I can beat it but don't need to win every session or make thousands to be happy. So I'm playing turbo sitngos for now starting at 3.40s and played about 140 in the last week of october winning about 130 bucks. So here are my November goals-play at least 300 stingos (easily could be more but with Thanksgiving I'll keep a low goal)-move up to the 6.50s but not before I have at least 50 buy-ins, maybe more-250$ profit-don't tilt-have fun

October turned out to be a decent month. Although my roll only grew by a few hundred $'s, I feel that I underwent some extreme growth in my overall game.I ran deep in 3 $3 rebuys (10th, 9th, and 9th ugh out of 2600+ entrants) and final tabled a couple of PL Omaha H/L $22 MTTs and a couple other 180 man SNGs. No wins though, so this is obviously very disappointing - I pride myself on knowing the endgame, but it just didn't work out in any of them.I also made it to step 5 from step 2 in the PCA and lost on a coinflip flip to RainKhan. So the trend of getting really close to huge scores is getting a little old, but I must have final tabled 8 tournies this month out of maybe 50-60 played, so I definitely feel good about that.My NLHE SNG confidence is through the roof right now - took 2nd out of 67 qualifiers in the PXF Subscriber SNG League ($20-100 division) with a 32.8% ROI.http://www.sharkscop...aderboardid=121Without a doubt, I am playing the sickest poker of my life - now it is the time to turn the corner and make a few big scores.November Goals:First goal is to put school first for this month as this is my last full quarter of classes, I don't want to screw up my GPA. It's a little rough final tabling a $3 rebuy until 4am then waking up for 7 for class - I can't keep doing that (and if I do, I need to win the damn thing)- Monetary: 2k+ Profit through SNGs and MTTs- Win a MTT of over 200 people- Continue growing my MTT game- SNG Satellite into and play each Sunday Million when possible

Hey if you guys don't mind my jumping into strat, I think it would help if I set some goals for myself to strive for.Still working on what they will be, but I have a few ideas. This is going to be a rebuilding month for me as I took everything off of Full Tilt to have some spending money for the rest of the semester.Get PokerTracker. (check)Get September's rakeback in (~80) and turn it into ~150. (I got the rakeback and blew it playing too high. I then got some money from a buddy who was supposed to send me some ($25) and bought another $20 off of my buddy here at school. Played 10NL 6 max, got up 8 buyins but eventually lost it back. Build back up a little and went to 11.50 turbo HUs. Won 21/28 and went 3/3 in 22+1 turbo HUs. Built up to target goal. Went to .50/1 NLHU finding someone who bought in for $40 and buying in for the same and stacking them. Ran/played extremely well in those over a smallllllllll sample size and now have roll up over $500.)Work on sng's and try to get a decent ITM/Win% playing at least one a day. (**** SNGs. I can't seem to do anything right in the 9max ones. HU more then made up for it thought)Spend more time in the strat forums and work on improving my game overall. (A little bit. Not much, need to work on that for this month)
October graphs:HU, last three days of the monthhttp://img441.images...031430pmfa6.jpgOverall, October from about the 16th onhttp://img490.images...toverallxf0.jpgNovember Goals: Really work on my HU game a lot (Play at least ~10-15K hands)Continue to build a roll however worksGet back into 6max at 25NL and try to move up to 50NLTry to watch Jordan, Fluff, PT, and others who mainly play HU as much as possible to try to learn.Read the HOH series before I play another donkament.

Don't remember my October Goals and don't feel like looking them up, but I doubt I met any of them. October was shitty. Blew way more money than I could afford in Vegas and then made things worse when I got home although at least I'm not going to jail.Anyway, here are my goals for November:1. Make enough at 0.5/1 so that I have 30 BI for 1/2. I'm trying to be really careful to do things right this time, so that when I am rolled for 1/2 again, I'm not constantly taking shots at higher games until I flame out at 5/10 one night.2. Play enough hands on Stars to make 15,000 VPPs. I need ~31,000 VPPs before the end of the year to make Supernova and that would obviously be handy to have for next year. I figure that 30K hands a month should get me there which comes to just under 30 hours a week the way I play.
Lady luck's my fuck-buddy.

I plan to move out of small stakes Limit and move up to high stakes( which I am doing) 200/400 also start playing NL deep stacks again; but I am taken away from poker by NFL and sports betting which I like when I don't have to work. Poker is the work; also hunt down some rich private games were some big race horse owners play poker and lose 20 grand a day there are some good games going on if you can get into them the private market. So for high stakes you meet more tight players and raises but it is very loose in a private game of monied owners and bookies. I am going into soccer betting also many games to choose from; and last give up poker hand analysis for raw vegas TV.

October goal - $100 boost to my bankroll. (Failed, made $96.60 off 114 $2.40 sngs, lost $10.00 to tournaments, so $86.60 total for October). Also failed my unstated goal of playing at least 200 sngs.Stats - ITM - 60/114 or 53 per cent. ROI - 35 per cent.Stud Hi/lo $2.4 sng stats - 7/9 ITM 3/4/0/2 ROI - 100 per cent - Extremely small sample size, but I feel once I get down to the final four with at least an average amount of chips, I should be taking first or second. I've yet to place third and I've made first or second in my last six games. I'll crunch the numbers again when I hit 100 stud hi/lo sngs.November goals -$100 boost to my bankroll made by playing at least 200 sngs.Play a lot more stud hi/lo.
