i was hoping i could just get some general info on how to play these, as i find myself protecting alot with sooted connectors in the blinds (sng's and mtt's).
Also im referring to the early stages when stack to blind ratio is pretty high

General response for a general question.
I mean, I could probably write a chapter in a book about it, some stuff right, some stuff wrong, but certainly nothing new that can't be obtained from previously published poker books, and most of it will be incredibly meaningless because poker is a situational game and answering questions like how do I play sooted connectors in the blinds is especially futile, imo.

No need to write a chapter. It's been done:

so....do i generally protect with them in the early stages of a sng or mtt, or in your honest opinion should i just let them go?

what are you protecting against?
play them accordingly, thats all.. Play them vs an aggro donk who raises any face cards, and will C-bet any flop.
play them when the implied odds are good.. zach is right, its vague question

By protect I'm assuming you mean defend your big blind. I will call out of the blinds in a raised pot when it is big and multiway. When deciding whether to complete from the SB, take into account the odds you are getting (number of limpers) and if the BB likes to put in big raise when its limped to him.
