You flopped 2P - I'd rather bet the flop and check the turn, than vice-versa.Since your 2P is just about the weakest showdown hand for Omaha, the fold on the river is good. Sets and straights are just too common.By the way, nice to see someone else playing these penny tables. I just started playing .01/.02 Omaha myself recently.

I play under jbreslin on Stars. I usually only play in the evenings, between about 8 and 9:30pm eastern. Periodically if I have trouble sleeping I'll play a bit around midnight.What about you?

Problem is it's a hand that isn't likely going to turn into anything valuable, and anything you do hit is likely going to get beaten. From what I've read the best starting hands are ones that give you several combinations of potentially strong/nut hands. Two-suited high connectors, for example (something like AhKsQsTh). In your hand you have one high straight potential, one low straight potential, and mediocre heart flush potential (a bit devalued since you're holding 3 hearts). The cards don't really overlap at all, which means you're basically drawing to 3 separate types of hands, and 2 of them have questionable value.Take this with a grain of salt, though, since I'm an Omaha newbie. But there are some great internet articles on the basics if you do a quick search.

All of what jmbreslin said about completing here is correct. At .10/.25, I don't waste the extra 15 cents on it - but when it's only a penny, I get why you'd complete with it -- If you're going to do that though, you HAVE to be confident in your postflop play in that you're not going to lose ANY more money with the hand unless you flop big to it. Bottom two pair and a non nut flush draw is not flopping big in PLO.

I play as Bowman90 at around most times, currently i'm into 6-maz NL and omaha, and a micro bankroll that i'm building from freeroll money.I get your point about starting hands, i guess i just got excited about having a QJs hand from NL.

I play 6-max Omaha too, but only at the regular speed tables. I'll keep an eye out for you next time I play.
