IMO, this pot on the flop can stand a little more action and raising the flop heads him down the path of commitment to this pot.

I'm not a fan of the preflop 3 bet. Raise this on the flop. That's an excellent board for you to get money in this pot.

Since you three bet preflop and he bets into you on an ace high board, you better believe he's willing to go broke... so I guess it really doesn't matter what street you put him in on as long as you never consider folding...BTW i agree your threebet preflop sucks monkey feces.

Makes sense.BTW, the 3-bet is not standard for me. He was consistently raising to my button (mostly min-raises). Occasionally I re-raise pre-flop from the button to slow CO and late MP down a bit. Usually doesn't work at this limit anyway so I don't know why I try

It probably doesn't matter what you do, once he bets into you on the flop, since he is so short you can be pretty sure all the money will get in if he has any Ace.

Take stack size into account when three betting pre. As played you can raise the flop on him I think. I'd hate to give him a draw if that's what he's trying to block you for.

Thanks for the replies. The villain had KK, so I guess it was dumb luck that I played it this way. He may have folded that hand to a raise on the flop. I still agree with the flop raise line.
