Sheiky 0
Mmm, I probably just check behind here because i don't wanna get min raised and i think he'll also be cautios with what he calls with as there's 4 to a straight on the board so you won't get paid off as often if he has TP or something mediocre. Dictius 0
Yeah, obviously getting raised would suck and I would have to dump the hand but I think it's a good point that he will be more cautious in calling with 4 to a straight on board.
Moneyball16 0
Coming from a limit donk that is used to value betting pretty light and probably vbs too light in NL, Id bet. Probably something like 1/3.

AndyZ28 0
Bet more on the flopBet the turnCheck the riverI agree with this. I would have bet $.60-.70 on the flop and followed up with another 2/3 bet on the turn. You might have been able to get him to fold on the turn to you. Check the river behind him. NoSup4U 0
I bet river. But if you can't find the fold button if you get raised, then just check behind. But I'd bet that thin.Mark
Dubey 1,035
I'd bet it against most opponents at these limits. I had a guy on my right last night that if I was in this situation with him, I'd bet the pot and expect to get called by a worse hand often.I think betting about 1/3-1/2 of the pot and folding to a raise is good.It is highly unlikely that villain has a straight here. The only hand you are really worried about is a flopped set that got scared by the ugly turn card, or 89. Betting will occasionally get called by a better hand and you will lose, but I think it will get called by a worse two pair, or hands like A8 and A7 often enough, at these low limits, to make a value bet +ev. Tactical Bear 3
If we check the turn, this river is a clear bet. I don't think it's really all that close, either. If we bet the turn, we can take the showdown and check back, but once he checks his hand twice, there are two reasons this is a bet:1) He's twice decided his hand isn't worth getting value from, including on the river when he'll expect us to check back on the river if we've checked the turn.2) Our turn check makes our hand look very weak, and mediocre sized bet will entice a call from a wide range that we have beaten.I prefer betting the turn and checking most rivers, but once we check the turn and he checks the river, some sort of bet for value is definitely in order. Dictius 0
I don't know why I bet 0.4 on the flop, must have been an accident I would normally bet 0.6-0.7.I think betting more on the flop and betting the turn is the best way to go looking back on the hand. Thanks for the replies, the guy had A9 so I might have got a bit of value on the river if I bet it. Obv though, this hand is dramatically different if you bet the flop stronger and actually bet the turn, but, you know that already..given as weak as you played it though, I don't think a value bet is out of line at all. AimHigher 0
Bet more on the flop, Villain is getting 3:1 on a call. His line is definitely weak and he doesn't have a straight, but what calls this board that we beat. Not worth it, gotta check.Edit: oops, results were already posted, pointless post.
Snamuh 0
Bet flop harder. I'm not sure if I'm turn betting or not, I don't think it's a bad play. I check behind river.
