This is according to professional poker player Todd Arnold (aka; NSXT1, NSXT2) who made the following post on www.pocketfives.com in a thread questioning whether Daniel entered a rehab clinic.by NSXT2 on 4/27/2005 13:46       Danny needs to check into some clinic and get a charisma bypass and an ego reduction. Punk ass........with false feeling of self worth.

I always thought Daniel was quite a charismatic guy when he's on TV. He's always happy and has something nice to say.I think they're referring to the current funk he's in, and by "funk" I mean he's JUST mopping up at the biggest regular card game in the history of the world, and not winning absolutely every tournament in sight.People need to relax and give him a break, and realize that Negreanu has to be one of the best 10 cardplayers alive in the world right now.

There's also a guy there claiming to have smoked pot with Daniel a few years ago. This is not a big deal to me, but Daniel himself made a point of posting that he has never smoked a joint in his life.

I agree. I've never met him, but he seems charismatic enough to me. I think a lot of people get offensive and accusatory when others have the success that they would like for themselves.

Honestly, who cares? Who cares what some no-name "pro" says about Daniel? Who cares if he has ever smoked a joint? Who cares?This isn't a DN fan club. It's a poker forum hosted by Daniel, who is nice enough to post journal entries and occasionally add his two cents to our threads. Let's not disect his life or give more pr to people who do.

he just didn't inhale.honestly, why would daniel lie about having smoked pot? it doesn't make sense. i believe him. not like it matters.there seems to be a lot of DN haters all over the internet.i wonder if they are just people he's broken along the way.

I think Daniel's a very charismatic guy. I remember the first time I saw him was playing Freddy Deeb on FSN. Within the first five minutes I thought he was a really cool guy.And, in regards to the ego, that couldn't be further from the truth. From what I've seen, he's a very down to earth guy. I think this forum should be banned from posting anything about "Kevin."

I'm just sharing information buddy. If you don't care, don't respond. This is a forum where topics are discussed. A professional poker player making derogatory comments about another professional poker player is certainly a topic that can be discussed on a poker forum. Perhaps Daniel himself would be interested in knowing how one of his fellow players feels about him. I'm not saying he gives a sh*t; I'm just laying out the information and letting others take what they want from it.
