TheStampede 0
Hey all, I have some questions about the Superaggressive style that (what a coincidence) Daniel uses and Stu Ungar used to use (I miss him).I read the thread on being overly aggressive and such, i just need some help on reversing a reverse.....sorta. 1:Ive heard every angle, show bluffs or not? (i can switch up if necassary)2:Focus on reads more then advanced math (as in, what should i improve first)3: Should i or should i not stay SA, Ive played it fairly well (logged in 80% winning games) and i was wondering if i should change to TA4: Any other tips and such5: any good plays that SA can useU ROCK
Jubba 0
If you have to ask, then you're not ready for that tournament. You have to play your own style. What works for DN or Stu, might not work for you. What works for Dan Harrington, might not work for you. If you haven't found a style of your own that you are comfortable with, then you're not ready to put up that much money for a tournament. If I were you I would put up a fee for a few smaller tournaments (around $50-150) and see how you far. Try playing one tight and see what happens, then play a similar tournament and play really agressive.
TheStampede 0
Oh ya, that sounded bad, sry.I know the players, and i just wanted to know if i should go for the win or go to place. If i go to place i can play a tad tight. I think this is a tourney where just placing is fine. Any other tourney i would play SA.Thanks for the tourny tip though, i have done one and swept it SA and another as tight, but when i was tight i did get kinda lucky so i dont really take it as good or bad. Either way, thanksoh and btw, i changed the post, it just sounded so bad. I really dont suck THAT bad , seriously, i like SA but i think i may not be ready cause i have heard that SA requires godly reads but i dont think im that godly at it.Any tips on reads?I know betting styles and Caro's book, but anything else?
