Hey guys, Im thinking about taking a 1 day trip to vegas with $2,000. Question is, where am I going to find a good game. And what limits should I playin with 2k? I was thinking $5-10 nl. Any imput would be great, thanks!

Can't go wrong with Ceaser's poker room. Personally I wouldn't play that high with only 2k but I like to play a more safe game.

Thanks for the advice. I want to play in a higher limit game keep the idoits away, calling big money on gut shots and 6 high flushes. I may go 5-10 and come in a lil short staked, I dunno

Based on the thinking in this post, I suggest you play the 1-3 spread-limit at the Excalibur to limit your losses.I know this is harsh. Sorry.

You always want your opponents to be as good as possible. Good thinking. I would possibly go as high as 50/100 NL. Those players are substantially better.

At 50-100, I am only solid for one maybe 2 hands. $10-20 would be the highest I could play I think on 2k

No no, I think he's right. At 50-100 you will run into better players than at 5-10 or 10-20 and we all know suckouts don't happen in the 50-100 game. You're safe bet is the 50-100 game, trust me on this.
