Maybe I shouldn't dive right into this, lol.

I just bet $9.93 on a Leafs win at PartyBets.com. I figure that's about how much I would pay for a Toronto loss. icon_biggrin.gif

BTW...$23.43 if they happen to win.

betfair is generally pretty good, you can usually find great value there.

Serge's picks for Monday October 15, 2007(all lines as of 5pm on platinumsb.com)

Leafs +150

Obviously I like the Leafs here, however I am betting them at the price I am getting. This Leafs squad has played the Sabres solid in Buffalo and cont forget the disaster 5-4 loss that cost them a playoff spot last year. Buffalo has shown they can score but like the Leafs they have defensive lapses.
Take the Leafs here.

Detroit +102

This Anaheim squad this year has been very unimpressive..The Red Wings on the other hand are looking very good. Anaheim might finally show up, however we arent convinced. Coming off a nice win over LA last night. Wrong team favoured here..Take the Wings.

Leafs vs Buffalo OVER 6.5 -118

Whenever we see a line at 6.5 we jump at the over. The books are enticing the under however everything in this game points to the over. Also with talk of backup Thibault getting the start this one could be OVER in a hurry. Both teams have powerhouse offences and defences that havent shown up yet...Last 4 Leaf games have gone over..Until this trend stops I will go with the over..

Also in a non hockey bet...The Falcons +4.5 is the lock of the year...The Public is on the Giants and its a big trap..Bet the Falcons heavy.

lol ok

here's my book for tonight.

I'm a n00b so I'm just kinda messing around with some small amounts until I get a feel for it.

Leafs money line, +145, $3

I also took 7 random props from this game, lol.

- Race to 3 goals, TOR, +170, $1

- Leafs win by 2 goals exactly, +450, $1

- BUF win 5-3, +2800, $1

- TOR win 5-3, +2500, $1

- TOR win 4-2, +1200, $1

- Team scoring first does NOT win the game, +150, $1

- First period is highest scoring period, +210, $1

Should be fun, lol.

I'm gonna go to the casino tonight, play some 3/6 and watch the game.

Yay.

ok my bets for tonight:

£20. Over 5.5 goals in the Ana/Det match @ 2.4. JS looked good last night but it was his first game of the year so if he starts he'll likely be tired and if he doesnt Bryzgalov hasnt looked great this year so far. Combine that with the fact Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Holmstrom have been on fire thus far and i think you got a decent price for 6 goals.

£10. Regular time tied in the Tor/Buf game @5.1. No explaination here, just loved that juicy line.

No other lines really stood out for me this evening.

Lol, that reminds me of when I used to play on betonbet.com. You could place a wager on who would win the patent lawsuit involving the I-pod between Microsoft and Apple.
