Hand 3: Strange that he hesitated before pushing, which tells me he's not holding AA/KK. Could be something like 99 or JJ, or perhaps even something like AK or AQs.

is that all the hands u think he plays like this...

do this if you would, think of all 216 possible hands.... and pick out all that he may play like this... then after we have what we think is close to his range we can make the best decision

I can't see any hand that would give you value by limp reraising all-in this early in a tourney.

There are two possibilities I can fathom:

1) He's a donk and is doing this with a pretty wide range of hands hoping to get lucky and double early. (I didn't notice it was a turbo the first time I read it...perhaps a converted hand would have revealed that...so this possibility becomes more likely.)

2) He limped with a monster and thinks the minraiser is a donk and will call his push with a marginal holding.

Either way we are not in great shape as even KJ is a coinflip against a pair of tens. This early I want to set mine with them.

Or gotten an IM from his GF. Online betting delays that don't go into the time bank are meaningless.

I agree w/ 1

As far as #2 goes, the play just seems to donkish to be a well played over pair... i mean, if he has AA KK QQ wouldnt he raise pre??? if he is limping for deception and planning on raising, would he make a normal raise to something like 250/300 so he can get some kind of action from weaker hands??? I dunno, the play just seems so donkish that i see him having weaker hands here a lot more then a strong hand... I very seldom see this play made and the villian show aces or kings...

does anyone think he does this with hands like 44-99???

Good points, although a delay that goes into the bank I'd be more likely to credit to a bad connection than a delay that doesn't. But you're right, there are lots of reasons for delays that have nothing to do with a player's depth of thought. I caused several delays myself tonight when I had to tuck my 5-year old back into bed for the hundredth time...

Kind of off topic, but I tend to delay calls/raises with AA/KK at times just to encourage callers who think I'm weak since I took a bit of time. It's a wonder how much this works.

No, but this happens a lot in micro SnGs. $6.50 is probably a different story, though.
