You're only gonna get called by a better hand, unless the other guy here is AdmiralDonk. (what's up with this word 'donk' anyway, I've all of a sudden heard it alot, but only from poker players) But you might make a better hand fold. Hell even if he made his flush he might fold here, doubtful but maybe. Maybe he was fishing for overcards? I dont see any other draw he could be calling with except the flush draw, which he check/called. Maybe he's goin for the river check/raise with the flush, after all he is AdmiralDonk. maybe he has a 2 he's not letting go of? I dunno this is half and half, sometimes I'll fire sometimes I'll just check.

Based on his stat's it seems as though he'll fold to that river bet more than 50% of the time so a bet seems prudent.

Hmm well it depends on what hand you put your opponent on:1. Obviously a 9 beats you - he'd have bet that long ago, so this is out2. A two beats you. Calling a raise with a two in your hand, he SHOULD only have either 22 (which he would have bet earlier), or A2s. If he is a passive type, he may be fearing either an overpair held by you for a higher boat.3. Any pair beats you4. Any A beats you5. Any two clubs beat youAlso, he may be concerned about that third 9, and the fact there is a flush possibility on the board. I really think this guy has a two, and is playing it very passively.Id check it, and see if K high takes it.Exception: If your read on your opponent is that he likes to chase (although there isn't much to chase on this board), try a bet.Dev

I'd fire the third barrell, shit you could very well have the best hand and he could very well pay you off with a worse king, Queen high, or Jack high..JACK HIGH

Sounds good folks. There's really not much he could have on this board. He's chasing something quite a bit.I checked behind and he shows KQ and I lose.

Wow I'm getting better at this. Hey what happened with the 9-9 hand against the maniac last night?

This hand brings up a question that has been bouncing in my head lately. We care about preflop loose/tight (VP$IP), preflop aggression (PFR), and postflop aggression (agg. factor). Why not track postflop loose/tight also? Knowing whether AdmiralDonk tends to call everything all the way down or not is vital to deciding on a bet here. If he calls everything, we check behind and take our medicine. If he tends not to showdown often, I say we fire a third round at him and bluff him.Thoughts?

Cool. Manic quit betting? Kinda surprises me. As for AdmiralDonk...I named the other guy that. You were CaptainDonk, I figured if he would call you on the river with less than K-10 he must be AdmiralDonk. If you had bet...
