Bleh. I usually get a little goofy in these spots and bet like $6 and hope to get it HU. Only a set or Q7 can raise you, and you have position. I think you often get it HU and can play the turn more comfortably. If you check here you are pretty much giving up on the pot unless a heart or ace comes.

Yeah a clear bet/fold flop.Some braindead ****s will call you with top pair and hit two pairs on turn and they will keep check calling you no matter what card river is.

You really need to open up your 3-betting range (and probably your initial raising range). In this situation I can have KQJT, 4567, 89TTds, etc. so putting me on aces is a real mistake.

You really need to open up your 3-betting range (and probably your initial raising range). In this situation I can have KQJT, 4567, 89TTds, etc. so putting me on aces is a real mistake.

At this particular level, the hands mentioned are the minimum of my 3 betting hands. IMHO, you naturally are going to play bigger pots, but you will not be revealing your hand anywhere near the level of the information gained if your opponent calls. However, against the right opponent I think it appropriate to flat call here.
