Congrats to CobaltBlue for being the new featured member (see home page). He found success at the WCOOP at PokerStars including cashing in the Main Event for about $15k.Also, we must thank him for the FCP Forum Glossary Thread as it's become the key reference place for our lingo... AINEC

If everyone plays by the same math rules we all lose to the rake.
If your a 70pct favorite to beat someone in general, why take an allin with them at 66/34 ? your giving them the edge.

Congrats Cobalt. VN run in the WCOOP me.As long as no one minds though, I'm making Looshle my own personal featured member of the week, in honor of his bday yesterday. Besides, one would think that he might have accomplished something over the last few years/contributed enough to merit the honor... :club:

Patience.... I'm sure it's on the way. Without much effort I can think of a half dozen people right off who will eventually make it up there, but you gotta space these things out to make it last for a while.

I am not against a vote for Cobalt Blue....nor any member of s7s for that matter!!! However...I think PMJ brings up a very good an valid point. I think there are a few members here at FCP who deserve "feature member" status....even if they haven't done anything major lately. For example...I have been a featured member due to (2) nice mtt's scores in recent months. I am semi embarressed that guys like looshle, PrtyP, PMJ, GrinderMJ, ChuckSty, Bkice, etc. etc. are not featured members and I am. These guys are much better than me and have given something to this community for as long, if not longer than me. I don't know that we need a "Hall of Fame", but giving featured status to at least the names mentioned above (and I am sure I am missing SEVERAL others) in the coming weeks/months is a quality idea.Just my 2 cents...

BK is the perma-featured member of the week at pokerhaus though, so that would be overkill. :club: Otherwise, him not being recognized for that insane week he had earlier last month would have been a bit of an oversight.

Well since it is a Featured Member section (singular) we can only display 1 member at a time. If I give others featured status then suddenly 1 members great 2 week achievement goes unnoticed as that spot is filled with others who have contributed over the years. Everyone deserving will obviously be there in time, just patience :club:

Heh obv....Poor Bk, that will be his legacy on FCP. I know he rubs a lot of people the wrong way, but he really is a good kid (im sure he'd love being called a kid...) and carries himself a lot more humbly in person compared to online. I'd like to hope that I would have been more humble if I had that much success at his age, but knowing myself at that time, I probably would have been a bit of a prick too.

I think the real point here is that I was the first featured member which means everyone after me is not near as cool or important :club: congrats cobalt, nice score in the ME!
