Isn't that what Creationists say about the theory of evolution?
“We had all the momentum. We were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look west, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark, that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back.” —Raoul Duke, Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas

I hear that Ryland kid is a super balla.

I also heard that Bob will close any topic that mentions Ryland's 'balla' status.

let me see if i can maybe shed some light on my post yesterday. I think the point i was trying to get across was that to me it seems there are still some hard feelings between raymer and DN and i handt heard anything about it in a few months and basically was noticing that there was still some hostility in some of raymers comments, call me what you will if it makes you feel better about yourself.

So you are saying these comments were made this week? If someone, anyone, could get me a copy of the chat log I'd greatly appreicate it. I'm curious to know what was said and it what context before I pass any judgment. If he did say something like that... lol, that's just insanely stupid.

Some of it was captured in the ME thread, but I don't know how complete it was:

QUOTE (Tosh @ Monday, October 1st, 2007, 2:23 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
bjburn812 [observer]: hey greg how do you feel about DN calling you all idiots for your bashing of the WPT
FossilMan [Commentator]: his statement was the idiotic one
jburn812 [observer]: why do you feel that way

FossilMan [Commentator]: I don't think so
FossilMan [Commentator]: wsop was much more important
Daut44 [observer]: moneymaker was the poker boom
FossilMan [Commentator]: as was online poker, and Chris Moneymaker's name
jburn812 [observer]: it was the second most watched poker airing
Dealer: Game #12370930055: hazards21 wins pot (15200)
FossilMan [Commentator]: no wpt, and maybe everything is 10% smaller, at most
FossilMan [Commentator]: no wsop on espn, and everything is 50% smaller
jontsef [observer]: btw moneymaker recently finished 23rd or so in some tournament!
Dealer: hazards21, it's your turn. You have 15 seconds to act
jburn812 [observer]: other than the WSOP the WPT is the most watched poker show on tv
Dealer: Game #12370933229: hazards21 wins pot (63200)
FossilMan [Commentator]: not true, I believe the stuff on Fox gets bigger audience
Dealer: Game #12370939748: MadsWA wins pot (27200)
FossilMan [Commentator]: doesn't matter, espn and wsop get way more viewers than wpt

btw....aren't you two boys supposed to play nice now that you're on the same team? tongue.gif
