$1,000 to talk to DN? No offense guys, DN is cool and all, but I wouldnt pay 5 bucks to talk to someone. The only good thing I see coming out of this is that it goes to charity.

Maybe some people would give $1,000 to charity anyway...And, talking to Daniel is just a bonus.

You might not pay five bucks to talk to someone, but I'm going to donate money to a charity anyway, so why not get the added bonus of talking poker with one of the greatest in the world?
Peace,
Jay

Then I drop out first. If I spent that kind of scratch to talk to DN when I rarely play poker anymore my wife would castrate me., regardless of the dontation to charity. :D

If it wasn't out of my range before it went to four digits it certainly is now. Props to Gary for doing this although you can admit it is only because you can talk to Erik Ryland anytime you want. As always, DN being the gent for matching as well.

Clearly, this is the 2nd coolest thing I've ever seen on FCP. It'd take something pretty special to surpass my charter membership, though.

Don't forget, even if you can't shell out the $1k plus for the phone call, you can still help out the charity, and have a chance to win some dough too. Click the sig for details....

One question: If I write a check (no online transfer as I am a WA state resident and that playing poker online thing is a no-no in these parts), will you process the donation in my name (hence I get the tax receipt)? If the answer is yes, I bid $1200.

I was thinking about this. I'm certainly not a tax accountant but if you got audited, couldn't you just print out this thread to prove the donation?
I keep telling myself I'm moving on
Believing my heart was strong
But every step I take that leads me away
Just circles back to your door

Wishing I didn't love you
What I'd give if I could touch you

Wishing I didn't love you anymore
