This is from the pokerstars wcoop $320 NLHE 6-max event... about 3 quarters of the way through the field. (I'm actually on the 2 hour break as i type this now, lol.

Basically, Im thinking i might have made the mistake of overvaluing my high pair... and i'd be interested to hear any input that you guys would be able to give me smile.gif

Don't minraise preflop.

Bet more on flop.

Hand plays differently from there.

Work on your bet sizing. You're giving your opponents great odds to draw out on you with a wide range of hands.

Don't minraise, make a real raise preflop, to 1k or so. Other than that, I don't think you're folding on that board, it's too drawy to lay down kings.

This isn't the tourney forum either. smile.gif

re read the people above this post.

Don't ever min re pre flop. Any hand you're up against now knows what you have, has great odds, and is disguised. It is an AWFUL plan. Unless you hate money.

Has anybody said not to minraise this PF? smile.gif I don't think you need to go 1k, but def 750.

Bet the pot on the flop...make him pay to draw.

QJss? That's about the only thing that makes sense other than pocket aces here.

BTW, it wasn't a min raise... min raise would've been to 400. Thanks.
