He min raised you. This either means a monster or a small piece trying to take control. Flat call is ok if you're just going to call him down the rest of the way and let him dictate the pot size. If you want to end up raising at any point in the hand, 3-bet the flop light, and fold to a 4 bet.

His flop C/R is air often enough that smooth calling and raising the turn seems about right. nice hand.

I like it overall, i wouldn't mind reraising the min raise on the flop but since you didn't i like raising the turn.

Why do we raise the turn? Are we afraid of his A getting 2 pair / our deuce being counterfeited?

I raise it most of the time, esp nittish full tilt tables 2 years ago. I'd try not to raise it as u get into nl, even though i know you're probably going to pick up nl post flop play pretty quickly.

I just fold preflop.

Playing 6 max NL from the CO, A2 should be raised almost every time unless someone behind you is crazy aggro or something. I would not limp this hand preflop.I think that raising the turn is often bad. If he's ahead, you're drawing slim or dead. If you're ahead, he probably doesn't have many outs. You have position so you should use it. I just flat call the turn and see what he does on the river. You can value bet rivers that he checks, raise some weak bets and maybe consider folding depending on the action. I think the raise on the turn invites too much trouble.

To me raising let's us build the pot when vilian does have an ace. If he's got a strong ace, he's got a tough fold since hero could be overvaluing his bare ace. I raise and hope to value bet river as well.

I find the overall preflop play ridiculously tight and postflop play awfully passive.Seems like they fold for an hour , then they call down with top pair no kicker.And my c-bets are winning WAY WAY more pots on flop than they were in PLO.

It's cause they only have 2 cards.for me online poker is muich different than 2005. More concentrated lag play with a couple maniacs flying around. The secret to these tables a year ago was consistent raise preflop and cbets. As more people did it, the less that became how to beat it. There are a lot of nittish tables out there. Table selection is impoprtant and identifying the looser players is very important now online
