middle card pairing isn't a big deal. just keep playing the hands the same way as if top card paired, bottom card paired, etc. your hand strength changes, and just adapt your play accordingly, but don't assume that the pairing gave your opponent trips, even with a raise or a bet.one thing that shocked me was your pre-flop call in hand 1. it's folded to you on the button, you have A9, and you CALL?blind stealing, my friend...why in the world would you want to give a free flop to the blinds?raising here might buy you the pot.it gives you information (what kind of hand they have, especially if they don't defend usually, or if they three-bet you).it's more likely to get the hand heads-up (since small blinds rarely defend), and you have a prime hand that does well heads-up.you also have post-flop fold equity.you're also more likely to get good value even if you hit the flop, since some people actually get more aggressive when you try to steal their blinds (they'll bluff more post-flop).besides that (which REALLY shocked me), your post-flop play was fine in hand 1.in hand 2, your post-flop play was also fine.a lot of times, fish try to bluff when the board pairs. it's a really pretty hopeless thing to do, but then again, fish also bluff into a six-way pot with ten-high...at the same time, you don't want to raise the river in hand 2 or three-bet the turn, because that's just chip spewing. just call.so i think your post-flop play in both hands is fine.aseem

WORD! Gotta blind steal here. The last point that Aki makes about people getting more aggressive when you try the steal is absolutely true in the low-limit rooms. I would say 75%+ of the times that you attempt a blind steal or semi-bluff in LL rooms, the BB or SB will call you. A post flop bet will generally seal the deal for you, whether or not you have made your hand.If there is any post-flop EP playback however, be warned. Unless you know the player is a LAG, you should probably try to just check/call it to the showdown from that point on... or seriously consider folding if you haven't hit anything by the turn.
