I always find it hard to play AK when I hit the ace but a few other Broadway cards are shown. For example: 1-2 on FTP:A :D K :D in SB1 limper, CO raises, I decide to just call out of position, BB calls.Flop: A :D 10 :club: Q :) I bet, BB raises, two folds, I call.Turn: A :club: 10 :club: Q :club: 7 :club: Check, bet, call.River: A :club: 10 :club: Q :club: 7 :D 3 :) .Check, check.BB turns over A :) Q :) Should I bother three-betting and possibly getting capped on flops with 3 broadway showing, or was this correct? I am mentioning mostly my flop play; on the turn and river I think I played it OK. Should I have three-bet preflop (almost guaranteed that BB would call anyway, but maybe useful in the future)?

lmao!he's right, though, yang. you're playing a little passively. more often than not, your AK will be good.if you get capped on the flop, then you can slow down and go into check-call mode, but i think you have to three-bet the flop.and definitely, definitely, definitely three-bet pre-flop. it's for value. AK is NOT a drawing a hand. you have strong equity.aseem
