He had a diamond draw, saw weakness, and bet to pick up the pot.

He called a raise. He better have big cards. If he had a flush draw he would check/raise the flop.imo, he either has something like, J9s and took a peel off on the flop or has AJ and is pulling the c/c-c/c-b/f line.

Calling a raise from bad position, smooth calling the flop. I've gotta believe it's a big hand, even though KDawg is an aggressive player and plays alot of hands. I think it is AJs.
The path
of the righteous man is beset on
all sides by the inequities of the
selfish and the tyranny of evil
men. Blessed is he who, in the
name of charity and good will,
shepherds the weak through the
valley of darkness, for he is truly
his brother's keeper and the finder
of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those
who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you.

I'll throw out that he had AA. Smooth calls preflop looking to trap. He hits his trips but is slightly worried about the diamond draw. He calls flop looking to the turn to extract the money. Turn fills him up and he checks hoping to induce a bet but doesn't get one. River doesn't complete the flush for one guy and the other guy doesn't like his Ax anymore. His $6 bet into a $34 pot is just asking for callers. Almost getting 9-1 on their money he's trying to get a caller.

I'm guessing a Ax suited hand( but I'll say say A8 of spades to be more specific). With 2 coldcallers, he probably figured it was worth seeing a flop. Getting 11 to 1 on the flop he probably decided it was worth seeing the turn even with his weak kicker. When the turn got checked through, he probably figured his top pair was good and decided to bet the river.

K :D J :) was my first guess, and then i saw that gobears guessed the same thing. well, great minds think alike, right?what are calling hands from the small blind from an early position raise with multiple callers?- low pocket pairs- suited broadway cards weaker than AQs (AJs, ATs, KQs, KJs, KTs, QJs, QTs)- maybe suited connectors? (JTs, etc.) (i doubt it though)- maybe suited aceswhat would he stay in on the flop with?- a set- a draw (flush only, no straight draws really)- two pair- top pair good kicker?the thing is, the board was two-suited, so he would check-raise a set, two pair, or top pair good kicker. the fact that he called inclines me to think he's on a flush draw.BUT it's possible he was waiting for the turn to checkraise for value (i'm not sure i've seen him pull this line though...) with 99/55/A9s.when the turn got checked through, he had to bet the river, so either he has 99/55/A9s and didn't get too much value, or he missed his flush draw but nailed a pair, sensed weakness, and figured a bet was correct.if the latter case, he had something like QJs or KJs.aseem

I second this one at first...makes the most sense, you didnt think your opponents had an ace (rightly so as the turn was checked around)But he would have raised the flop with it, since Kdawg's hyperaggressiveQJ (not diamonds but suited)
