help with blogspot and hosting providers

I wanted to start my own blog to entertain myself, but I'm not real sure what all I need to do. I've already registered at blogspot, but what else do I have to do. I don't have anywhere to host my info. Can anyone recommend a good, relatively cheap place to go? Any info would be greatly appreciated.ThanksShawn

Well the next thing to do is make an entry. As for hosting, I hear that blogger.com is pretty good to get started and is free..

If you've already registered with blogspot, you should be ready to go. Log in and make a new post. I also suggest you download Picasso & Hello. It's an excellent way to use pictures in your blog.

well it ask me for a blog address...what would that be, and where would I get it from? This is where I'm confused...I guess :? I don't think I can post anything until I figure this out.

One last question...How can I post my blog address as a URL in my signature? Can't figure it out.
