mtdesmoines 2
You underbet the flop. I hammer that harder. You priced in a lot of draws. By the time we see the river, we're in rough shape.
Metternich 0
I think your flop bet was alright, but the turn bet is way to weak. I would bet the pot on the turn.
AKProdigy 0
Flop bet was fine, I would have bet ~4 - 4.50 on the turn to price out draws. I don't MIND the blocking bet on the river, but I think I would have c/c'ed here. I ESPECIALLY c/c here if you think that villain might be prone to bluffing with air on the river. I'd prefer c-c as well though, as long as the bet is reasonable.

Acid_Knight 2
The flop bet is fine.Turn bet is terrible. Make it twice that size.River bet is also bad since you'd never bet that amount with a straight. If you're not gonna put in a real bet and fold to a raise, then just check/call a bet. Royal_Tour 0
without any reads.....a lot of times when the pf aggressor is acting behind me post flop, i check to them. you should have assigned a range of 10,10 - AA AK, AQ AJ etc.. witout reads, maybe lower PP's and tricky hands from position when yu know more on the player.since you're acting after the SB... this is important, you have control of the pot if/when c/o bets.if c/o bets and sb calls, i raise. if c/o bets and sb folds, i call.as played though, by betting the flop, you hope he now has 10,10 -AA and so i continue to fire out pot sized bets, people at this level have trouble throwing away over pairs. Money022 0
Going to sound like a broken record, but the flop bet is fine, turn bet is weak, and I probably check call a 1/2 pot sized bet on the river with the way it was played.
dbl_j_22 0
Thanks, yeah you guys are right, my bets were getting way too weak, I fixed that last night after readding some of the replies and after talking to a much more successful online player then me on aim last night about aggression in a six max game.I guess the past months or so I got carried away with making little value bets everywhere just to the point it got ridiculous, and even having success, which Im sure you can do with many strats b/c the low limits, even up to .50/1 this month, I wasn't maximizing value and I was ending up in spots like this with my sets. Now i've been potting the flop, and close to potting the turn if I feel that my hand is ahead, and I cut out my stupid slowplays because ofcourse the better tricky play is bettingit when you have the goods b/c im taking stabs at pots with less than the goods if im on my game and playing a 25/20 type of range. Thanks for the responses. NoBBiR 0
I think I'd be overbetting the turn in this particular case. The board just got dangerous, and before the river were never folding, so I'd bet a lot. The river is a check/call in my opinion. Betting that much is just asking to get raised out. After the river, the villian could def. have JJ, 1010, etc. here, so I let it go after the raise.I also don't mind a flop lead of the pot. I mean, he's folding AK sort of hands, and calling or raising with overpairs, and we're never folding on the flop. For that reason I really like to juice it and hope the guy goes banana's with QQ. Going to sound like a broken record, but the flop bet is fine I also don't mind a flop lead of the pot.You guys sure about all this? I think we need to fill pots and make villains pay when we have huge hands. as proven once again, there's no value in slowplaying and I think these 60% flop bets are slowplaying. As in, betting the pot. I think he didn't bet enough, but just by a little.
danc1984 0
The flop bet is definitely not the issue here. Obviously the ridiculous turn bet screwed us here.
