Ok I have been playing very aggressively, but really I'm just a cardrack so far..My past experience with these gay little min raises is that its air and they are trying to take the pot cheap, its a draw, or in very, very small amounts of time, its a monster..I'm really not giving him credit for a monster due to board texture..That being said, what is your flop action? Are you putting him all in to price out the times he has a draw or flat calling to induce another bullet if he has air? Min reraises piss me off! If it's a low buyin tourney it generally means a big hand (from my experience). I've found that alot of low-buyin players will only make re-raises with a good hand, they have no bluff/play making skills because they are too scared, even with a big draw.I think he has a hand, but probably nothing better than a higher pocket pair to the board. Pushing and losing will leave you with about 2100 chips which is still playable, flop seems safe, I push.Edit: Ah, $13 double shoot-out. Easy push. People will play any hand in these, but probably not a hand that has a 2, unless it's A2.

Hmm, I think that because so much of the time you're way way ahead here (he doesn't have a draw or a monster), you can call and check the turn, and let him shove for you. Or you can shove, but I think calling and checking the turn probably increases the chances that he gets all in, which is what you want.

i see his minraise as wanting to get the money in now. if he was raising with air im thinking a larger raise gets the job done instead of laying you an excellent price to the pot. i think he has a middle pair or a flush draw so i like the shove here, i think a call potentially shuts him down on the turn or lets him draw cheaply. an overcard to his middle pair slows him down, as does a non heart for his draw. if he is actually slowplaying a big pair then a shove gets all the money in for sure. with villian only having about 800 left that minraise screams i want all the money in now.....i shove and then puke when i see the flopped boat
