showstopper24 0
I love this show. It is probably the funniest show on TV right now. Larry David is a comedic genious.I realize you either love the show or hate it. I love it and crack up, but some of my friends don't laugh at all during it.It's on Sunday at 10:00 on HBO. I think people might be put off by it because A) It's dry humor B) It's smart ( but not like super smart) C) Larry David is a terrible actor ( which I kinda love.. it's not the acting that matters, it's the jokes, and I love his persona.) I think the show is the best.
CobaltBlue 662
It's one of the few shows where I'll consistently laugh out loud while watching it alone.

Dirtydutch 9
or cringe at how uncomfortable it makes you. Great though.Exactly. Watching it is so awkward that it's hard stare it straight on. It really adds to the show.
sealster 0
or cringe at how uncomfortable it makes you. Great though.Agreed, this is the only show where I constantly look away going oh god is he actually going to say that?! But it's hilarious and one of around 5 shows that I love to death, hope this season is just as good if not better than the 1st 5!
ice4804 0
So far I have only seen season 5, but it is easily one of the funniest series ever.

I agree that it is not the acting that makes this show, but Larry David plays his character so well. What's everyones favorite episode/scene?I absolutely loved Krazee Eyez Killa, and my favorite scenes are the ones that he is in. "mother fuc.ker what the fu.ck." I guess that is my favorite episode, but they are pretty much all my favorites.

I also like the one where he buys weed for his dad.Tomorrow is going to be a great day for tv. Opening day in the NFL, then Curb. Can't get better than that.

Can't get better than that.I have read online, that Jorge Garcia was the first person casted on Lost. And he got the part because the producers loved him on Curb Your Enthusiasm (he was the guy that sold Larry the weed).
Poppy_Hillis 11
I'm ready. Getting sick of watching football. It's such a lame sport really.

showstopper24 0
I liked the episode, but I didn't find it too funny. The situation was funny-how both times Larry was forced to stay at the party when he wanted to be somewhere else-but I didn't laugh that much. Next week should be better. showstopper24 0
I thought that was pretty funny, although the end was obviously going to happen.Last season, the first scene of the season was Larry almost drowning and after that he felt like he had a reason to live, and it was a theme for the rest of the season. When they took out the fire detector, it was obvious that for the rest of the season (or at least for a couple of episodes) they will be looking for a new place to live. For every every season they've done, they moved into a new house/location. It's a running gag

It really adds to the show.Da Ali G show was the same way. That character and the Borat skits made me so uncomfortable, I had to actually watch while looking through my fingers. Very good ep though. He just kills me.

dEv~ 19
I have all 5 seasons on Dvd and I would put this first episode of season 6 in my top 10. You don't watch Curb to be surprised. Being predictable is one of it's perks.
