This hand is making me go crazy. I don't know if pushing was +EV or not. I figure I would ask you guys and see. I don't have the hand history because it was on UB and I didn't think about saving it when it happened but, I remember pretty much everything. 2+.20 bounty tournament. 1 dollar for each bounty. Started out with close to (if not a little more than) 700 people and we are down to 250. Blinds are at 30/6010 person table I will only give you the chip stacks that matter. Me 1870 BBUTG+1 2500MP 570 (short stack at table)CO Covers everyone. My notes on all players. UTG+1 - Very fishy. Called on numerous draws (incuding a gut shot) when not getting proper odds. He called all his money off with a 7 high flush draw against 2 opponents earlier and backed into a straight to stay in the tourny. His main tell is that he is min-betting the flop when checked to on a draw then calling raises. Any other time he overbets his big hands. MP - Not too much info except he is in "SHOVE" mode. He was down to 200 shoved with A7 and tripled up. CO - Playing very tight....very ABC. Not taking the chance with trapping. If he flops big he is playing very aggressive. Passive on all other hands. It is apparent that he doesn't want to mess around this early in the tournament. Okay...here we go. Hero is dealt 7 8 hearts in the BB. All four of us see a limped pot with the SB folding. The flop comes Q 7 8 rainbowed with the Q of heartsI check hoping to instill some action from UTG+1, he bets 60, MP moves all-in for 570, CO thinks for a moment and flat calls. Pot is 1470. I obviously don't think that this is a calling situation. Either Push or Fold. Based on my reads I think I am ahead of everyone but the small stack. I put UTG on a draw "910 or even 10J" or small pair or Q with a bad Kicker. As I said before he would probably overbet his two pair. I put CO on a reasonable Q "KQ, QJ, Q10" or maybe JJ. I feel like if I push it is a good chance I get a call from both but, one of them is definitely calling me. What what would you guys do here? and to settle a bet.....if I read them correctly....do I win or lose more chips if I play this hand against all three opponents over the long haul. I will post hand results in after some responses....

You don't say how much the CO covers you by; this does matter as his call looks very dangerous given your read.That being said, I'd push hoping to get everyone (except the all-in) to fold.Also, I would never go for the c/r in this situation (very vulnerable bottom two pair); I'd lead out for half the pot...

Maybe my avatar has changed me, but yeah, you need to ship it in here. Folding is out of the question. You cannot give the short stack credit for the shove, you cannot give UTG+1 credit for anything but a pot-stab, and the call from the CO is more likely a Q or a pocket pair that beats a bluff than anything that hurts you significantly.You have two ways to win this pot: a. ) isolate the shorty and beat whatever he's got, Q or draw. b. ) beat the CO/UTG (doubt both will call) for 1/2 the pot and lose the main pot to the shorty.I can't think of any reasonable case being made to lay this down. You can only even be counterfeited by two running cards. For every time you run into Q8 or Q7, you run into Qx nine out of the other 10 times.

well that is what I chose and everyone called. UTG showed 910 for an OESDshort stack showed Q10andCO showed KQI was really happy about my reads and about how far I was ahead until a 10 hit on the turn and then a K on the river. The reason why I asked this was because a friend of mine told me this was an insta-fold every time and I couldn't find a reason to agree with him.Oh and CO had around 6K in chips or so at the start of the hand so that is why I put him on a KQ or QJ. As I said he was very ABC and would have raised premium pair (like QQ) or AQ pf.
