Alright so this is going to be my first big deposit on stars. In the past I've only done little deposits here and there of 50 dollars. I am thinking of depositing $500 into my account. Was just wondering what you think the best levels for me to play with that bankroll. My best game I think are No-Limit SnGs and MTTs what level should I be playing at according to my bankroll and which types of games do you find the best success. Also I rarely play cash games but if I decide to which limits are best?

Since you are asking this question, my advice would be to start at the lowest levels in all cases, get a decent sample size to see if you are a winner, and if so, then you can move up.For the dollar level they play at, the softest games at the low levels are Razz and O8. Nobody has a clue how they work.

i might suggest NL/PL games to be able to push your edges for stax at the lowest levels. NLO8 on stars, NL 2-7 if you know the game, etc.razz is far and away the best out of the limit variations (at low limits) due to: 1) all pots being scooped (hence better than stud8); 2) the frequency of your opponents calling down drawing literally dead against you; and 3) the extra rounds of betting in stud games.sngs are also a great way to start off a br, if you prefer that route. best of luck.

Well I know what limits I want to play at I'm just wondering what everyone else thinks cause most of you have been playing poker alot longer than I have. I only started playing seriously online for about 8-10 months now and all these little deposits have gotten me no where so I want to be significantly bankrolled now. The highest I have played at are $16 dollar 18 man turbos. Only played about 5 of those cashed twice (1st and 2nd). Basically about a month ago was broke cause all these 50 dollar deposits weren't really enough money for the 5 dollar SnGs i was playing. So a friend of mine staked me in a 4.40 I ended up finishing 3rd in it shipped him half and i had 45 in the account long story short ran like god for about a week and a half and got my account up to $1100 then blew it all cause I am a degenerate and decided to play 3/6 no limit HU and one bad beat killed me.

$5 dollars, if u can beat sng's consistently you could prolly play $10's too (weekends are good times to press your bankroll a bit) Have a daily stop loss and you should be fine.
What if the 'HOKEY POKEY' really IS what it's ALL about?

This isn't exactly English you are writing, but from what I can tell, you think that you will have better luck with one $500 deposit than with 10 $50. Also, it seems you've had one big win but other than that, you are a losing player.Based on that, it doesn't matter what you play, no bankroll is enough. So if I were you I'd just play the lowest cost SnGs and MTTs I could find, hope for another score, and if you don't get it, at least you got extra entertainment out of your money.

im still not sold that many of these people that get these big online scores are winners when it comes to the live game, which, by the way, is real poker.
