It's 53... FIFTY FREAKING THREE!! That's such a huge number.. I think betting the under his is a fantastic play.. generally, 50 plus point over/unders are huge sucker plays for the over. I mean, it's the first week, the offenses won't be clicking yet.. it order for them hit 53, both offenses have to be clicking, not just one.. this seems like a no brain under, no matter how good their offenses are... what do you guys think?

I think I'd take the over pretty easily here. Defense may be ahead of offense at this stage of the season, but these 2 offenses are pretty explosive. I guess I could see the score being 24-20 or 27-21 or something for the under, but more likely I think it will be over.

Tell you the truth, I'd stay away from that line altogether.

yeah, staying away is probably the better bet.. but I definately don't think 53 is an "easy over" I Don't think people know how rare it is for games to go over 53.

I don't think that's right. I counted 7 games in the first 3 weeks that went over 53.

Disregarding the sports betting part, how one-sided was this game? N.O. was the highest scoring offense last year and Indy one of the worst defenses. What the hell happened?
So much for a comeback.

Indy's defense was pretty good when Bob Sanders was playing last year, too.

Agreed, but not against top notch offenses. Somethi8ng is wrong with N.O. So far, the big hole I am finding is while having 2 great backs is nice, they never get into a rythmn against good defenses, not to mention some of the playing calling was Cardinalesque.
So much for a comeback.
