First of all, that's not a bad beat. You just played it really badly.Second of all, you really need to watch your language.

In what way did he play this badly? And if that language bothers you, don't read bad beats.

My opinion. He had a great hand to start with, but then someone came up with a better hand. He kept playing the worse hand. That was his fault. The language is against forum rules and I should not be subjected to it anywhere here on the board.

Just out of curiosity, where would you have folded this? The turn? The river? I would have been hard pressed to fold it anywhere. And you are right, the language is against the rules, I grant you that. But hey... lighten up a bit :D

Frankly I think the only way to avoid bad beats of this kind on line is to not play .25/.50 limits. The flops may be created for more action, but for sure you have big fish that will always go to the river and the learner who may not know when he's beat. You have to take it in stride, and when you have nut str8 on the flop and the turn or the river pair or bring the flush just call so you don't loose all your money.

Next time, don't call UTG+1 with JQ offsuit.

I never said I would have folded it. You assume too much. I'm just saying that in my opinion he played it badly.Well if the language is against the rules, why should I accept someone who cheats the rules to thier own ends?

Okay..... I was merely asking for clarification for my own game. Other than the PF call, I think he played that hand very well. Unlucky, but well. I was hoping to see your insight on why you thought it was a bad play. And if the language bothers you that much that you claim him to be a cheater now, I'll stop arguing about it.

Explain where the arguement lies here. There is a system in place to block what the owner and moderators consider foul language. The poster took deliberate steps to avoid that system. Thus, he cheated the system and is a cheat.

That is not a bad beat. That was a bad decision to go in with those holdings in that position at the table. You got almost exactly what you wanted with the flop with those cards, so you have no basis on which to complain about losing.

And lots of people here are cheats to act in such a fashion. And because you are so limited and you must resort to trashy name calling, I pity you.

Incidentally, I'm still waiting for your insightful explanation of why you think he played that badly.
