What Car Should I Buy?

Recommended Posts

Hey, i know i had a thread about getting a car but i decided to wait for another year and save up more $ before doing that. Now, I still think about it a lot and am researching into cars right now to figure out which one i should get...The one that's winning the race right now is the RX8... http://www.motordesktop.com/wallpaper/spor...%201024x768.jpgsuggestions on what and why i should or shouldn't get a car are welcome...my price range is 25-35k and probably get it used or something...GabePS...i want to get my license plate to be something with 'GabeTheKid' ... any suggestions on shortening it a lil cuz i believe 8 letters is the most i can put on a license plate...so far...i think GABDAKID is winning the race... Maybe.... GABETKID, perhaps GABEDAKD, ideas?

I just bought a 2008 Ford Escape. I hate cars but they are a necessary evil. It's ok, comfortable, roomy and decent gas mileage. Too bad the Canyonero doesn't exist.
one thing i will not buy is a ford. terrible unreliable company. no offense, i drive a ford right now too...

if you don't like Fords then don't buy a Mazda.

I had a Mazda that rarely gave me any trouble. When it did, the service was solid. Maybe that's not the norm, but in my life I've never heard anyone equate Mazda to Ford in terms of overall quality.I think I was the one that recommended the RX-8 in the last thread, and I still think it's a good call. I hate personalized license plates like the ones you're considering, but that's neither here nor there.

I just need it to be able to make the monthly trip to A/C and the occasional trip to the grocery store/mall, etc...I can walk to work so hopefully I won't need their service much.

Mazda is Ford, partly. The B series trucks are Ford Rangers. I'm not sure what other models are comparable.
