what range of hands are acceptable for defending blinds? I just sat at a table and got A-8o once on my bring in blind and once in my BB. not just that specific hand, but what kind of hands would you defend your blinds with, and similarly, what hands would you complete with and not complete with in the small blind?

There's no real easy answer to that. It depends on the type of person raising, what position they are in, how many people call, etc.
