Just curious as to how the level of play at Absolute stacks up to other sites. I mainly have experience at Poker Stars, so if someone who has played at both could compare the two, that'd be great. Thanks!

From what I hear, the PStars competition is better than the Absolute competition.

Better as in, better to play against (i.e., easier to beat) or better at poker? I'm assuming you mean Poker Stars has players that are better at poker, just want to clarify. Thanks!

Yes, PStars players are better at poker.

Absolute is a rock garden...ive never played at stars, but between the tightness of absolute and the crappy software, i think you're better off with stars

I'll take the crap software and crap players on Absolute over PStars good players and good software any day of the week. The bonuses are great on Absolute also.

i just started playing on absolute yesterday and so far the play is pretty tight/passive and the games are beatable. also not many tables going. but like vedder said, the bonus' more than make up for everything else. im just staking my brother a couple hundred to play to clear any bonuses. i'm giving him 70/30 but i get to keep the bonus'

Yeah, I just started playing there a few days ago. I'm up pretty big there. Definately not a rock garden.
