KDawgCometh 2
you need to threebet the flop, badly. The pot is enormous so you need to protect your hand by any means neccessary. Betting the turn is mandatory too

RISEorFall 0
I don't think it's a mandatory raise on the flop and bet the turn. He made a read on an opponent. While the read on trips wasn't right, he was right that he was beat. I would still 3-bet the flop to find out. If he caps you're beat, if he just calls you're probably good. I don't mind the check on the turn if you think you're beat, but you should 3-bet the flop to find out. and the bet on the river was good with everyone checking on the turn. Guest XXEddie
I check here, because I feel that CO has made a setthe only set you need to fear is 88 In my opinion, with a raise and 3-bet...no reason to not cap with KK, and no reason to call 3 cold with 33, IMO

RISEorFall 0
I never said fold. And yeah, i agree that giving a free card would be horrible here, but isn't betting when you're pretty sure you're beat chip spewing? What if you bet and then get raised? I understand staying aggressive with a good hand in a big pot is good, but betting when you think you're beat is just wasting chips isnt it? WRTO and well, everyone else who is saying keep betting, if you think you're beat why keep betting? I'm not saying its horribly wrong, I'm just curious about why.

Talk about monsters in the closet and shit.what it boils down to, if you have a good chance of having the best hand in a gigantic pot. be aggressive so that the times your hand *is* good, it holds up. obs 0
Way too weak here. Despite popular belief, AA plays great multiway. That flop and turn is absolutely great for you. As others have said, raise the flop, bet the turn. Be aggressive and stop fearing sets. Of course if that 3 had not hit on the turn I would have lost a lot of money.
RISEorFall 0
Ok so with the range of hands you're up against here, you're ahead more often than you are behind, so keep betting and keep building the pot. I still don't mind placing a read on a player and betting accordingly, but I do think it needs to be 3-bet on the flop to make sure. Also, I wouldn't place too much emphasis on making reads online. The most you can do with that is determine what type of player he is and figure out a range of hands he could be betting. Online (and limit) you should play much more by the numbers, which in this case say reraise and bet the turn.
rog 0
The other benefit of 3-betting the flop is, if he caps it, you can be pretty sure you're behind. You can check/call from there. One re-raise is not much information. He's likely protecting top pair. I would say it was a well executed free-card play but...umm...there's no draws on the board. So yeah, 3-bet the flop. If he caps, I check/call the turn. If he calls on the flop, keep your foot on the gas.

There's a lot of people saying keep firing even if he caps the flop though. I see good reasons for both.
