Was actually trying to isolate the BB in this hand with a hand that would be hidden if it hit. I didn't expect sb to repot, as he'd been passive, but BB was as lag as they come, something like 75/20/2. I knew if I could hit a hand, he'd pay me off with anything reasonable. Then this happened...Full Tilt PokerPot Limit Omaha Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.256 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $52.80Hero: $39.45CO: $6.50Button: $24.05SB: $30.50BB: $42.10Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with 5 :D 7 :club: 2 :D 4 :D UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.85, 2 folds, SB raises to $2.8, BB calls, Hero calls.Flop: 7 :D 9 :) 2 :) ($8.4, 3 players)SB bets $8.4, BB folds, Hero??

well yeah, that is a fold all day long, if u say he's been passive there's no was he'd make a move on you with something even worse than your hand. best case scenario imo: you're drawing to a deuce or a sevenand btw: bottom two sucks :club:

Looks to me like he hit a set or is protecting his overpair from flushes/straight draws.
There are no flush draws out. What are you talking about?Anyway, bdc, the fact that you're considering doing something other than folding here means that you're playing way too loose. SB has 3.5 PSB left in his stack and is potting it into a multiway pot. He could have easily flopped a flush and the reverse implied odds are huge if you try to play with him here. Also, you can hit disguised hands with a lot better cards than this. Just about any hand with a 2 in it is garbage and this one is no exception. The way to make money against players who play too loose preflop is waiting for good starting hands, not trying to find even worse starting hands than they play to get in behind with.
