Anyone done the football draft on RotoHog? It's the Marshall Faulk $100K league. Less than a second into the draft most of the players were gone. Was it like this for anyone else?

I'm signed up but I'm going to push out my draft date as far as possible. Sounds like there might be some bugs in the system as this has been talked about in the rotohog forums. I know that there's a limit of 1 player in every league so if you're slow, I could see eleven players being snapped up before you draft since each round is simultaneous

I didn't even know there were rotohog forums, or I would have posted in there. As it turns out I got an email from them saying they're system screwed it up, so they canceled that team and cleared me for a new one as well as upgraded me to premium service, whatever that means. I think it's one player for every 12 teams that are drafting at that time. Not really sure how it will work out.

Premium service gives you real time stats and trading market information on each player. It's useful as I think that it would be very difficult to compete effectively without those services.Yeah, in theory, since drafts are twelve teams, only 12 players should be unavailable after each round - sounds like the software needed some work

Hey guys, I'm a fellow poker player though I spend most of my time on some "other site."I noticed this thread and thought I'd chime in. I'm a pretty hardcore RotoHog fan/player, I've been playing baseball and was running top 10 in the global league for half the season. I eventually fell off to around 40th, and now I'm going for a monthly or weekly prize.I've actually got a RotoHog strategy blog at WeeklyProjections.com. My latest article covered the best $1 players, and I've also got this RotoHog primer if you've never played before; it's far from comprehensive, but it's a decent start.

Good site - you run dailyprojections also don't you? I use your site to keep track of the real standings in the baseball league. I'm Crunch Bunch in the rotoguru forums and on rotohog.Your $1 article was very good - I had Jones, Williams and Walters also as potential $1 steals.

Yep, DailyProjections is me as well. It will be nice to not need "real" standings for football; I'm assuming those will be pretty straight forward. Thanks for the kind word. I really think those kickers may be the best values on the list. Obviously that will depend on how their position battles play out. I'm going to list some under $10 guys I like as well this afternoon/evening. They're not quite the steals that the $1 guys are, but there are still some very good ones.
