Hmm...I'm reading SSHE right now, and this falls under the combination of hands where raising doesn't protect you and where the pot is too big.SSHE says that this would be the kind of hand where you really can't protect. Hence you should wait to raise until on the turn. You'll notice particularly that the SB probably had a flush draw. Hence he had enough outs to call of your raises on the flop, but not to call the raise on the turn.As contrarian as it seems, it would appear that you should just call the raise on the flop, and then attack the turn.I'd like to see what others would think though
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

Thanks!Sorry to quote the book, but I learn better that way. I'm about a month away from clearing this damn FT bonus, then I'll be playing limit (can't wait-should be fun

I can't imagine anything other than tens through aces. He was in too early a position with not enough limpers to be raising with A/X suited, which seems like one of the only other plausible hands besides Aces or Kings that has you beat.SB may very well have been on a flush draw. He saw it 3bet on the flop and saw a raise with the initial raiser still to act after him, and since the board paired twice, he didnt want to put in 3 or 4 big bets on a flush draw when he's potentially drawing dead. When the button begins to call, you're good. Could be A/K of spades or pockets below queens. If he did have you beat, he missed out on a few bets.
