Early hand in a low buy-in MTTPokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converterCO (t1860)Button (t1480)Rog (t1480)BB (t1360)UTG (t1360)UTG+1 (t1500)MP1 (t1500)MP2 (t1500)MP3 (t1460)Preflop: Rog is SB with [2d], [4d]. 1 fold, Button calls t20, Rog completes, BB checks.Flop: (t80) [Td], [5d], [7d] (4 players)Rog bets t40, BB folds, UTG+1 calls t400.I like my flush. Could be good...need to know, so I fire heavy. Would anything but a better flush flat call?Turn: (t1520) [7s] (2 players)Rog checks, UTG+1 bets t780 (All-In), Rog folds.Just cant put them all in on a baby flush.Final Pot: t2300So, anyone think I should have called? Is that flop bet too heavy? Wanted to overbet on the flop so I wouldn't get trapped on the turn.

the flop re-raise is WEAK. that was almost the minimum raise, you really shoulda pushed allin there

The re-raise put half my stack in. That's as much as I felt I could put in and still get away from it if I was up against a better flush. If my flush was better than T, I would have pushed, but holding 2-4, I'm beat by ANY other flush hand.

Ding-ding we have a winner :)Don't be afraid to go broke with a low flush
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

yeah...you'r right. It was worse than weak, it was undecisive. The size of his raise left me withonly fold or push as options. If I didn't want to push with a baby flush, I had to fold it right there rather than showing weakness. I was trying to play the flush and leave a back door out, but the raise put me in too deep anyway. An update. I built my stack back up to 1100 with small pots. Got all in with QQ vs A7 off. Ace came on the turn, so on to stud at 9:30. :D Going to make a night of low buy in tourneys
