I have played about 4 orbits and haven't done a whole lot..Table has been pretty tight and I have literally seen Villain do nothing, but then again, I don't pay attention extremely well...His raise was like instantaneous... Whats your action here, considering this is a pretty bad flop for an open limp/call? This is a pretty disgusting spot. As you said it is an awful board for an open limp/call at a tight table. I guess it all depends on just how tight this table has been. If reraising postflop has been fairly rare and the villain has not got out of line in 4 orbits, pretty tough to see anything other than 33 or 44 here. On the other hand if he is capable of raising on draws then its obviously a reraise. I dunno, I probably repop it, call a shove and hit a 2-outer.

This is interesting, I don't like the idea of rerainse and being prepared to call a shove. If you are going to call any shove, than just shove it yourself. I also don't like the idea of reraising and shoving any turn. Far too often i see somebody shove when the most dangerous possible card comes out. What if the Ah came out? People get frustrated that they just got outdrawn and think "i'm just gonna go all in and if he just outdrew me than I just got unlucky." In a higher stakes game, I think I might just call this, especially if my opponent was a tight player. The problem is you still don't know where you stand. Will you be able to get away? The nice thing about calling is it may keep a bluffer bluffing. In this stake game I think reraising is good too. Unfortunately, any reraise seems to pot commit you. So if you're going to make the move, it looks like you need to shove. Hmm, I don't really like it. If hes a tight player, what could he have? Your best situtation is obviously against somehting like AK. But would he have limped with AK? Not impossible, but also strange. Could he have limped with a pocket pair and hit a set? Also possible, mayb he wouldn't have raised you right away with a set. But if he doesn't have the set, is it so important to push him out? If he has some hort of straightflush draw, you are not getting him to fold and you're probably the underdog. Shove or Call? I don't think I can falter the shove, but I like the call.

Looks like a set or possibly AK/AQ to me, it certainly would explain the re-raise if it was AQ/AK. I would re-raise and push the turn so long as an ace didn't come.

When does anyone open limp/ call with AK/AQ in late position, 6 max, and then pop a strong, OOP bet on an 8 high board? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever, unless hes a total donk, which I don't get the feeling from the first few orbits
