ScottK2001 0
Here's a random question. Sometimes playing a SNG on Stars, I see someone with the PokerXFactor logo. It seems to me that their blinds prove to be an ample opportunity for stealing early on (depending, obv, on where I'm seated), and also on garbage boards when they entered the pot, it's often a chance to steal--since supposedly they know SNG strategy and won't risk a majority of their chips with trash. Also, accordingly, on the bubble (depending on chip counts, position, etc...), it seems like it can be worth shoving and/or re-shoving against them, knowing that optimal SNG strategy is to fold almost every hand when it could knock you out.Am I thinking too much here, or is that a smart approach?edit: Along those same lines, I tend to have the same approach with opponents who are multi-tabling 4+ SNGs at the same time. vbnautilus 49
I think if you know something about someone's strategy you can certainly use that to your advantage. I am just skeptical how much you can tell from that logo. Seems like a bit of a leap from the avatar to their playing style, even if it does tell you they have access to certain strategy info. timwakefield 69
^^^^^ I do think it's silly to have a PXF avatar since you're basically telling other PXFers that you probably tend toward a certain style. I see some of them play pretty poorly though.
