Just starting to play some PLO again. Trying to figure out if this was a bad river push or not. The way I saw it is there was only 1 hand better than me for the low and the high (both had to be the nuts). With 3 people in the pot I'm thinking I'm definitely good for one of them, bad thinking?

Keep in mind its 4 handed at this point ...

PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha/8, $0.25 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($18.40)
UTG ($23.65)
Button ($18.75)
dna4ever ($24.65)

Preflop: dna4ever is SB with 5, 4, A, 3.
1 fold, Button calls $0.25, dna4ever raises to $1, BB calls $0.75, Button calls $0.75.

Flop: ($3) A, A, 7 (3 players)
dna4ever bets $0.5, BB calls $0.50, Button calls $0.50.

Turn: ($4.50) 5 (3 players)
dna4ever bets $1.25, BB calls $1.25, Button raises to $2.5, dna4ever calls $1.25, BB calls $1.25.

River: ($12) 8 (3 players)
dna4ever checks, BB bets $0.25, Button raises to $12.2, dna4ever raises to $8.45, BB folds, Button calls $2.55 (All-In).

Final Pot: $29.15

Results in white below:
Button has 3d Ac 2s 7h (Low: 7, 5, 3, 2, A | High: full house, aces full of sevens).
dna4ever has 5d 4c As 3h (Low: 7, 5, 4, 3, A | High: full house, aces full of fives).
Outcome: Button wins $29.15. dna4ever wins $6.30.

the only thing i'd do differently is that i'd go ahead and pot the flop in an attempt to get this thing HU, then do everything in my power to get all ze mobneys in after that. 4 handed, you should be content to get it in on the flop, turn or river every single time, so i'd just file this one under cooler and move on. the only way you lose money here is if one guy has a bigger boat (unlikely) and another guy has 23 or 24, both of which you have redraws against (and it's also unlikely), or you run into someone with precisely the hand he had. at 25max, people are going to be getting it in with a lot less, so don't worry about one hand sucking for you. you have a monster, just not quite a nut/nut monster.

GRACIAS, felt like bad luck, and ive always heard not to reraise a reraise on the river without at least one nut, but this situation seemed different being it was 4 handed and i had 2nd nuts both ways, shrug, stoopid game

i think you made a mistake with not betting the pot on the flop.

see what happens on the turn is that although heads up you need a four card hand to beat you you do not want to get this in three ways.

if i had played it the way you did i would have considered folding the river.

the way the turn went down is what bugs me. you make a little bet and the bb just calls and then the button raises. so its time to start putting them on some hands.

your read of the button is really important here. if he would never raise with anything short of a boat there you can assume that the bb has at least your low or better and your looking at getting quartered or scooped here a lot (don't forget, you can get quartered here for hi also).

i mean its one of those marginal folds you can sometimes make to save from getting stacked. i wouldn't make it often. but the way this hand went down i'de really consider it. but keep in mind that the hand only went down this way because you played it way too passively. you should get stacked here, you just sort of accidentally gave yourself a way out.
