You really think he repots preflop with any hand that contains 2 of 3 of the cards on that flop? The ONLY hand I'm afraid of is JJ as part of a middle hand like JJQK or something like that. What hand containing J5, J7, or 57 repots me preflop?

i probably repot this hand pfsince as you pointed out the pf re-raise from OOP means aces most times, i like your play, since you do have the nut flush blocker as well as the 7 to possibly unchop this pot...we have a lot of fold equity i think here, he has to worry about our hand much moreso than we do his, and finally as bdc said all that beats us is J-J with big cards

If I were oop, I'd have repotted, but I wanted to pull almost this exact move on a safe-ish flop. Since he repotted, he HAS to lead in to us. Gives us a lot of power in this hand, imo. The flop that hit was about as good as I could hope for, assuming he has what we think he does (AAxx)

Is this a joke? Terrible. You beat nothing. You cant even beat two pair, the very least that he has here. He can have monster draw, a set, etc. You are toast.
You might want to tone the attitude down a little. Do you really think he's just check/folding AAxx on that flop? How about a hand like KKQJ?

I would probably repot preflop. You can get a decent amount of your stack in preflop, and you really want to get the button out.I'm undecided about the flop. I think it's reasonable, but I'm not liking button's range.

Can we fold for $9 more into ~$60?
you're right.something about the flop just bugs me though. it seems like we are risking $30 to win $17 with very little chance of getting called and being ahead. i think about the best you can hope for is that he calls with aces and no flush draw and you are free rolling him for 5 outs.------------lets say everybody was like twice as deep here. would raising less be good?

I prefer a preflop repot to get rid of the button, but as played I don't know. I don't hate a call in position actually. We can represent a lot of stuff that appears on the turn, and we should find out if the button has hit big fairly cheaply.

I am with simo, i think he has aces too, maybe even KK, the range of hands he is repotting with pre-flop do not hit him here unless he has like AKQJ with some spades, or if he is a tricky player and does like 4 5 6 7 repot, but no...i like the repot the flop, and what the heck two pair could this guy have? 5 6 7 8, you repotting that preflop, nope. I think worst case is JJ10 Q, but still, i dont think he repots this pre-flop. He has aces too, repot the flop and hope he has KK, he thinks you are weak because you didnt re-raise again if you would have had aces

Simo is more worried about the Button than he is about the guy who we "know" has aces or kings -- it's certainly conceivable that he overcalled with a low-mid connected type hand that has all kinds of outs on this type of flop (789T, 6789, etc)It's something I didn't think enough about during the play of the hand. Yes, I have position on the raiser - I sure don't want to repot it here though and see "Button Calls, Other Guy CALLS"...

This is a stupid spot to get cute preflop. You've got good aces and you can get over half of your (effective) stack in with a 4-bet. Just repop it.

Nice read sir--as someone else said, I was pretty much freerolling for a second pair or a third seven -- had his 8 blocked as well. weeeeee!Full Tilt PokerPot Limit Omaha Ring gameBlinds: $0.10/$0.256 playersConverterStack sizes:UTG: $38.50UTG+1: $25Hero: $33.45Button: $9.40SB: $23.70BB: $57.30Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A :) 8 :D 7 :icon_dance: A :club:2 folds, Hero raises to $0.85, Button calls, SB raises to $3.65, BB folds, Hero calls, Button calls.Flop: 7 :D 5 :D J :) ($11.2, 3 players)SB bets $6, Hero raises to $29.2, Button folds, SB calls all-in $14.05.Uncalled bets: $9.15 returned to Hero.
