OP, you are seriously on Tilt right now and you're sounding like Phil Hellmuth or Bill FillmaffJust tell the dealer you won't accept bad beats and you'll be fine
Last night I stayed up late playing poker with Tarot cards. I got a full house and four people died.

I'm not trying to be a dick here so please take this constructively. The few posts I have read by you have been about you have this horrible luck. Granted we all take beats. But I think there may be two problems here:1. You are focusing too much on the bad beats. Everytime you get a hand, some one cannot be getting sucking out on you.2. You simply are not extracting enough value when u have caught a hand. Bad beats seem more tolerable when you're winning larger pots when u have monsters. Bad beats seem worse in your head when gemerally you either lose a big pot or win a small pot. NOt saying this is definite, but from the posts I've read from you, I would defininately consider this to be a possibility.

answers to ur suggestions1. you would be surprised, not EVERY hand but the big pots, i get DIKKED,2. how can you not focus on the really bad beats?

The title of the post is "I can not play any better and I still lose" calling or raising A8 off in mid position is HORRIBLE PLAYING, maybe if you didnt raise and call with crap like that, you wouldnt have "bad beats"

Seems like the general idea is that you could, in fact, play better.keep reading the forum, get your head out of your ass, and lose the "im the best in the world" attitude.

answers to ur suggestions1. you would be surprised, not EVERY hand but the big pots, i get DIKKED,2. how can you not focus on the really bad beats?1. Would go to what I suggested about the bad beat pots being bigger than your big take downs.2. I personally focused on them a lot when i began playing poker and would get annoyed at people calling me with garbage and hitting a miracle. As far as the cash games I play, this attitude has gone away because I consistnelty win and know what I'm doing is making me money in the long run. I shrug off bad beats cause I know I did what I needed to to win. (Bad plays on my part are what tend to get to my psyche more than anything)You can't focus on the bad beats. I don't play limit so i have no suggestions there, but my suggestion with nl is to get a little bit more creative if you really find yourself not taking down very large pots. We all have to play AA, KK AK, but they don't make a whole lot money. Try finding angles to play small pairs and sutied connecting cards.( Hands with larger implied odds).

man, what is up with some of these uber whiners that come on to this board looking for solace from dumb beats. Here's an idea, quit complaing and get better at poker. boohoo you got beat by some donk playing bad cards, guess what, these are the people you should be feasting on, but I guess you aren't. Post some real hands that you feel you played wrong, don't post the results, and be open to being ragged on if you played it dumb. So what if you took some beats, I don't care and I know a bunch of tohers don't care. check your ego at the door and realize that many of us have suffered some pretty bad beats ourselves and then STFU
