QUOTE
Straight from LA I値l be flying to Manila, Philippines for the launch of a new poker tour, the Asian Pacific Poker Tour sponsored by PokerStars. I致e never been to any Asian country and that has be a little anxious actually. I have no idea what to expect at all. From there, I知 heading to Barcelona for the first spot on the EPT tour. I値l also be staying there a few extra days for the World Cup of Poker, a unique event created by PokerStars that pits country against country in an Olympic style event. Costa Rica have already won the World Cup twice, but with Canada qualifying, I知 hoping that I can help bring the Cup to Canada, eh.

In the Phillipines you will be tall. Enjoy it.
They also make a really sweet dessert with rice and suger wrapped in a banana leaf...yummy

In Barcelona take Lori for a walk down the Rambla. Great street with lots cool things to see. Spend a litle euros on the street hustlers and tip the break dance crew.

Good luck finding food though, they put ham in everything.

Too bad you missed the Homeless World Cup in Copenhagen this year. I had to watch team Canada get wumped a few times. I think your free healthcare needs to expand to free soccer lessons for the homeless.
I use my cigar smoke as idiot repellent

Daniel will find a few things unpleasant on La Rambla, I'm sure.

Animals in cages mainly.

Also, watch out for pick-pockets. I was in a group of 4 guys, and they still tried it on... cheeky f'kers.

I must say though, Barcelona is the most beautiful city I've ever been to.

Watch out for the women with deep voices (j/s). Las Carricolas was the bomb when I ate there. Wish you could get me a cuban cigar too. Great memories there(except for the Communists rioting).
