Vade 0
Okay, I can usually follow your strategies, which are top notch, and often unconventional hereThat being said, I'm not entirely convinced that this isn't worth calling down for 2 more BBJJ plays the same way for a lot of playersAK of diamonds is also very possibleI'd call, but I'd love to hear some more reasoning

Guest XXEddie
good play....i probably woulda just called that then either check or call a river bet(if no Q)
rivercardbandit 0
I'm thinking he's got pocket 10's. With his check-raise on the turn, my first thought would be trips, second thought would be the flush draw. You have 2 outs for what may not be the best hand, you'd have to have pot odds of 22-1 in order call, so I say it's a good fold.Or, I could just be way wrong.
wrto4556 0
imo, this is very very close. His stats say he is a bit loose...but not near close enough to make me auto-call.His capping standards preflop would be somehting like AA-QQ, AKs...and maybe JJ. :? :x Anyone else? DCWildcat 0
I think your play was a little too weak. I can't see many people capping with anything that would benefit from that board. That check-raise confuses me...smacks of an amateur who thinks he can buy it off you right here...I'd vote for the check/call
Petoria 0
The check-raise on the turn, signifies a very strong hand. I've made that play many times, but I have to have a very big hand. I like the fold, I don't think anyone has the balls to run JJ like that and I doubt AKs. Great fold, I wish I could fold that.

Guest
UTG is 20/10/2/150. Only read I have. Can you translate please? Have you been at the table long enough for this person to have a read on you? Regardless I think this may be case that's worth calling down. In part, to see what he is capable to bet like this with. Something else, do you think this person is sophisticated enough to make a move like a semibluff check/raise with two overs and the flush draw? I'm referring to this discussion from 2+2http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/showfl...&fpart=all&vc=1Maybe I'm too stubborn, but it takes one hell of a read (that you don't seem to have) to make me release an overpair on this board when heads up.ZaraEdit: Also, you're getting a little over 5-1 to see a showdown. I think this also leads towards as UTG may be putting you on the club flush draw with two overs and is wanting to charge you the most for trying to get there on the river. Coocoo 0
I woulda called you have a lot invested already but I suck! He may just be overplaying a smaller pocket pair or overcards/flush draw, I would have just check called after that obviously. I don't think its a bad fold though. If he sees you as agressive he probabaly has the AK suited IMO. But on such an ugly flop its hard to tell really. Unless he is very tight I woulda called him down, the only hands that beat you (realistically) are a set of 10s and AA or KK. Correct me if i'm making an ass of myself
wrto4556 0
Zara,1) Clarkmeister's nuts, right!2) He's not semi-bluffing. He's protectin his UI AK in a big pot. These two situations are completely different.20=vpip10=pfr%2=aggro factor150=#hands
