What kind of topic are you writing about?Blogging is becoming a harder and harder thing to get coverage of. If you're blogging about a specific topic then you might get some readers. If you're just doing a personal blog (like mine) then you'll just get family and friends (which is what I'm after in my case).I don't know if Google crawls MySpace or not. I've never been brought there on a search, and I thank them for that.Link exchanges with related blogs are the easiest way to get some traffic. Content is King - it's what will keep visitors coming back.

My wife has a growing number of readers each day, week, month, etc.My sig is her blog and you can see what she uses to get her traffic on the side bar. It's stuff like technorati, blogroll, and feeds.
