PokerStars 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K, 8.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 1 fold, MP1 calls, 1 fold, MP3 calls, 3 folds, Hero checks.

Flop: (4.50 SB) A, 4, 5 (4 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, MP3 folds, Hero calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds.

River: (5.75 BB) T (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 folds.

Final Pot: 5.75 BB

Should I have tried for a check-raise on the river? The only reason I made a donkbet is because I think he would have checked as well. He'd been playing very tight and conservative. As it was, it didn't make a difference cause he didn't call anyway, but should I have let him take another stab?

as for the river, if he's not the type to value bet scary looking rivers then i bet it for him
otherwise, i c/r
Rise,

looks good to me
I see no point in leading the flop but raither wait to see how many players and who bets, to see if we want to c/r
That Ace just hits players too often and I'm not liking if it gets raised behind us and we get isolated

I c./r this river most of the time; but given the info of villains nittiness, I understand your play

hmm good point, but i would hate to give up value to 77 or 56 type hands that may call down or atleast peel the flop

Meh, I lead the flop.

Act makes good point though.

I donk the river vs a lot of players, c/r others. Way too many people check behind here in the games I play, to c/r most of the time.

If your opponent is weak/tight/passive/lame, then go ahead and fire the river. He probably bets/folds or checks too often to making check/raising profitable.

As for the flop, I like checking this flop in this position if there are ANY reasonably aggressive players in the game, and most of the time otherwise, too. If we get heads-up against Ax for 2 bets, that'll suck. The pot's not really all that big, so we're not THAT concerned about letting medium pair, runner-runner, and gutshot type hands see a turn when they would've folded to a bet. If there were like 6 players in, then I'm more likely to fire. Leading out and getting called once by a tightish/passive player would also make the bet -EV.

Check/call or check/raise in some instances

I play it the same. I'm checking the flop looking for the c/r if there are 2+ players in back to me. Otherwise I just call. I donk the river most of the time unless I'm up against someone who can't help but bet.

You could also be betting a weaker Ace here and using the flush as a bluff, so villian should probably have called the river getting almost 7-1, unless he knows you're not capable of making that play.
