I have been playing limit hold'em for about a year and I think that I am a decent player now. However, I play .5/1 on PartyPoker, and it seems that about 4/5 of the time someone makes their inside straight draw on the river. And I don't just mean in one session, it seems to happen very consistently. Is this possible? Also, is it true that PokerStars has fewer people who do this? Any advice would be appreciated.

you want to be playing against these players. You might not realize it now because your losing, but this is where your winnings come from. Players attempting to outdraw you at long odds.

i really doubt that they are making their straights that often, you just remember it more when they do, it your getting it in with the best of it everytime your gonna have some bad beats, but in the long run that mean profit
